  • The value of a library

For every collector of A.C. Gilbert trains a good reference library is essential. Joe Deger's Volume 1 is the 16th publication in my reference library and is a wonderful addition that fills in several voids in my the American Flyer information. I don't think you can collect and operate A.F. trains and accessories with out a good background in the Gilbert offerings. To be a collector does require a solid background in order to avoid the many pitfalls of collecting. All the Greenberg's publication should be in your library and Joe Deger's book is a real must. Stay educated with your collecting and operating and have fun. Thanks Mr. Deger. Doc'
