As a 16-year-old sleeping in algebra class, you're dreaming of a land where a beautiful, magical princess has been captured and needs you to save her from an evil wizard. You awaken to find yourself on the planet Remlia where Princess Rosebud has been captured by Blackhorn the wizard. Since only you can stop him and rescue her, this isn't dream any more. In Astyanax, it's up to you to battle your way through twelve stages of vertical and horizontal scrolling action by choosing you weapons (axes, spears, and swords), and commanding your spells (Bind, Blast, and Bolt). And you'll need it all to fight your way to Blackhorn. So like it or not, your dreams have come true. If you don't save Princess Rosebud, Remlia is doomed.

    The figure is used, which I knew going in, with a broken ankle joint (which I fixed), which the seller communicated. It was packed well without the original box as listed, and arrived undamaged. However, I did not realize the figure was missing one of the glove fins/spikes, or that the cape was in a state of disrepair, forcing me to order a new one. I’m sure I can cast a new fin/spike, but this was not in the listing. That said, despite all of that, I am satusdied with the purchase.

    Astyanax a great fantasy adventure!

    I have very fond memories of this game it was hard but very fun the graphics are great the bosses at the end of the level are huge and well detailed I can tell a lot of work went into this game. There's so much action and I like the story line , and cut scenes on the game. This should be bought and played by all nes fans if you haven't played it your missing out on a wonderful masterpiece! The first stage at the end of the level I think you fight this mutant man that's riding this hideous monster I can't remember what all the bosses looked like , but anyway. You swing a sword on the game and you can collect other items and this magic you have where you can shoot projectiles in all directions which is very effective. I just bought this game again with the box and manual everything looked ...
