Not as versatile as I would like.
I bought this phone because I had read very good reviews of its sound quality and its 8mp camera - in its time one of the best cameras on any phone. In these respects the phone did not disappoint. It did, however, disappoint on other levels. First big disappointment was no SD slot to expand the memory. I use my phone to store music, books, notes, my sat-nav and my address book as well as pictures. I haven't run out of space yet but, if I do, my only option is to delete something. Secondly the battery life is not good. My previous phone would run for the best part of a week before recharging - this is two days at best a lot less if using the internet even with an extended battery. I was also surprised to find that I could no longer have a speed dial list which was something I used a lot ... Unfortunately the phone would not pair with my bluetooth keyboard nor my sat-nav - both of which say unsupported - which is annoying. It does pair with my headset but cannot auto-answer I now have to push a button to connect which can be a problem if my hands are occupied: carrying a heavy box, washing up, taking a critical photograph, driving etc. On the plus side: the phone looks good, the screen is visible in all but the harshest light; sound quality and volume is excellent and the camera produces good quality pictures. It synchronized with Outlook perfectly and with my main computer without any problems so updating my contacts was easy. All in all I am satisfied with the phone but it is not as versatile as I want. I have used my Windows 6.5 phone for nearly ten years and would still be using it if I could get another so I may well upgrade sooner rather than later.

HTC 7 Mozart is a newcommer from Taiwan. It's realy nice with Windows mobile 7 with nice explorer. The display is fantastic and sharp enough for normal 800x600 html page. Wi-fi is as fast as notebook wi-fi. Actually this mobile phone substitudes normal laptop. The cons. are about the size- if you search for a mobile phoe with mobile size - this Mozart is little bit bigger than expected, especially if you use a leather case. Also - the touchscreen is good enough, but if your fingers are big (like mine) you will face a mistyping the neigbour letters. Also it is great idea to use a stylus, so think for buying one. Transferring files to and from a PC needs a synchronisation program. If you intend to download some pictures to your friend's PC - you will need that program installed - great ... Not a bad smartphone but some features are lacking, this include :-Auto-redial, number editing from call history section, the process of transferring contacts is too cumbersome, you can't enjoy the phone functionalities if you are outside a good mobile service area. I don't like the concept of my contacts being automatically upload to Window live without my authorization, lacks ability to select contact number from call history when trying to send sms to people who are not on your contact. when replying a message it is impossible to add more contacts unless it forwarded. The call history lacks sorting capabilities for missed, incoming and outgoing calls, all are in one spot!!! The Bluetooth is not functioning or rather not compatible with other mobile phones I tried it with and even ... Mozart SUPERB!!
I also have an iPOD Touch and so naturally compare my Mozart to my iPOD. I find that the Mozart has overall superior picture quality. My iPOD Touch is 2 years old and the battery life has reduced. The battery life on both devices is similar. I use WIFI on both devices and it uses a lot of battery power and reduces the life. I would like to see longer battery life from my Mozart phone and my iPOD Touch. I find the WIFI coverage better on my Mozart. Mozart has an excellent processor and the response times seem superior to my iPOD Touch. Applications-wise - The Apple device has been around a lot longer and there are more applications for it but I am pleasantly surprised at the rate new applications are appearing for my Windows 7 Phone. The combination of the 2 devices provides everything ... I also have an iPOD Touch and so naturally compare my Mozart to my iPOD. I find that the Mozart has overall superior picture quality. My iPOD Touch is 2 years old and the battery life has reduced. The battery life on both devices is similar. I use WIFI on both devices and it uses a lot of battery power and reduces the life.
