The boost gauge is good. The vacuum hose that you get with it is cheap and unusable! It's plastic'y, and hard - can't be fitted, even when heated to soften. Make sure you order vacuum hose separately too. I think for the price of the gauge this doesn't matter too much, although is an inconvenience.

Boost gauge is at s great price for the quality of the finish. Only downsides are that it only illuminates white with a red needle, I kind of wanted one that would go blue to match my dash lights but given that this is half the price of most good boost gauges I'm not overly bothered. The illumination is a little too bright for my liking at night but not distracting. Now here is why I give it 3 stars and not 5. It is not properly accurate, when first out the box it looked great and the needle sat bang on 0 like it should. However after installation and been run in the car for a week or two it now returns the needle to just below zero when everything is switched off... It should be bang on zero, so due to this I would safely assume it's now reading roughly 2psi less than it should based on how far under zero it sits on the gauge. Pretty irritating but you get what you pay for, in hindsight I would have waited and got a more expensive gauge but it does the job for now.Read full review

I have attached my gauge directly to this surround and used 3m to hold in place, it is just a bit too small to fit over the vent internals, but a Stanley knife could correct if desired.

The vacuum line that comes with is a very tight fit on the T-piece. I would recommend buying your own line and fittings but the gauge is perfect and arrived quickly!
