The Book is great value for money and very interesting to read.
As a child I always looked forward to seeing the Royal Variety Performances on the television. I remember watching my first one in 1963, when The Beatles appeared. The book is an amazing insight into who appeared on the shows, ranging from comedians, pop groups, dancers, singers, actors and actresses. It is a lovely, interesting book and one of the best I have bought recently. I also like looking at pictures of the people in the news and the fashions they wore at that time.As a child I always looked forward to seeing the Royal Variety Performances on the television.
