    Everything an Artist Wants to Know About MARKERS!

    This book is SO cool...everything an artist wants to know about markers is in this book! There are tons of books available about Watercolor, Drawing, Oil Painting, etc but NOT many on the topic of Markers. I feel fortunate to have found (and won) this book on eBay. Published in 1983, so it really wan not something you could pick up at the local bookstore. I've been looking for a good, informative guide like RENDERING with MARKERS because, honestly...I find markers to be intimidating! Put a pot of acrylic paint in front of me, or a watercolor palette and it's fine. But facing a blank sheet of paper with a set of high-power markers...now, that is scary. I know the results that I want to create (the finished image is in my mind) but don't know HOW to get ...

    A must for design students!

    As for product design student, this book is a must! It's a bit "oldschool", still there's a lot of techniques to learn, techniques that will definitely level up rendering skills. Printed on nice chromo-matte paper, half of the illustrations are B&W, what is a bit disappointing.

    An oldie but a goodie

    This book was recommended to me by a professor. It's kind of old school but the techniques are still relevant. Lots of good examples for beginners and a useful reference tool too.

    eye-opening volume

    This is a very technical perspective on drawing with markers, and this book totally changed the way I view the medium. It's an older book, but the creativity and experience contained within are timeless. I would recommend this for anyone with more than a passing interest in art or drawing.
