    Couture

    Roberta Carr is by far the greatest resource for couture sewing techniques. This book is a requirement for the novice as well as expert. I've been sewing for 36 years, and Carr is one of the only experts that can still surpise me with incredible and creative ideas, techniques, inspiration. Carr has also produced video of her techniques and they are a must have. I read/view Carr's publications for pure enjoyment as well as to challenge my technical skills. If you stick to the classic standards of sewing, you'll love her. If you are a renegade and love to break all the old rules, then you will still love her because she enables anyone to acquire the best techniques and then to take them wherever your creative heart desires!
