The D5300 is an amazing entry level camera, and a unique one at that. The Nikon 24.2MP sensor along with the EXPEED 4 image processor gives the camera the ability to produce amazing looking and professional shots. Shoot in RAW just like the professionals, or let the camera do the hard work and save the images in jpeg format, ready for use. The fold out screen is something not often seen on DSLR model cameras, and aids greatly in getting those hard to get shots and in video production. Accompanied with a 55-200mm VR lens, this is the ideal setup for those looking to to shoot medium to far away shots, as well as stunning portraits. A great camera, and a great lens. The additional 'add-on' (included) battery pack allows for even greater shooting time, with over a 1000 shot photo count. The D5300 is an amazing entry level camera, and a unique one at that. Fantastic camera, loads of features, amazing spec and great pictures!!
This is my first DSLR camera having previously had a Fujifilm HS20EXR bridge camera. I bought the body only as I wanted to choose the lenses myself and get good quality ones right for the photography I was wanting to do. The Nikon D5300 is fantastic! Very easy to use, packed full of features such as a hand movable screen, GPS and Wifi, and a huge 24MPs! The spec if fantastic for such a cheap camera. The Nikon D5300 is absolutely the best value camera on the market. It is rich in its features compared to other comparably priced cameras. The image quality is excellent. I just love the clever articulated LCD screen which makes it very versatile. It is relatively light too, compared with other similar cameras. Overall it is a great camera. I have absolutely no regrets in buying a Nikon D5300 camera.The Nikon D5300 is absolutely the best value camera on the market. It is rich in its features compared to other comparably priced cameras. One of the best Nikon Camera's
Super Camera with lots of features. GPS is slow and eats the battery, but the quality of the pictures taken with this camera out weighs this. Its very fast on the auto focus.
