A wonderfully imaginative series. Highly recommended.
I bought the first book, The Borrowers, for my 8 year old daughter having read it myself as a child. The story really captured her imagination and she's now happily working her way through the whole series. The language can be a little old fashioned and require explanation at times, though it hasn't presented a problem. It makes an excellent bedtime story.
