Very good likeness
A beautiful model, evocative of the days of overnight long distance courting to Glasgow in the 1960s. In order to save on coach fares, I had to marry her. In peak season there would be convoys of Western SMT London~Glasgow coaches (and likewise Eastern SMT Edinburgh) breakfast stops in one direction and supper stops in the other, with the cafe geared up fo fast service of bacon rolls and tea. Sadly, Lockerbie became famous in later years for all the wrong reasons. One criticism of the model: the right-hand rear window is correctly blanked off to indicate the toilet compartment, but the rearmost window on the righthand side should similarly have been blanked.A beautiful model, evocative of the days of overnight long distance courting to Glasgow in the 1960s.
