    Used first Gen I7 CPU.

    Great product. Used 1st generation but still perfect for my needs. Tricky to install, as have to remove logic board but product itself seems reliable, fairly priced and as described. Very pleased.

    Very old processor, though still packs the punch!

    I used to have an i5-650 so this i7-870 is a significant upgrade for me. I wanted to keep the upgrade budget minimal so I only spent around 120 pounds to convert from 4GB RAM and i5-650 to 16GB RAM and i7-870. Doesn't bottleneck games that badly even compared to the i7-4790k. This still has a decade's lifetime 'til it's truly classified as "too slow" for gamers.
