I could never stand the overpriced small Apple phones with their toy-like screen, so i went for the Note 2 when it came out and was not disappointed, a real bit of screen real-estate. oh no said apple, no-one wants big screens: and then the note flew off the shelves and hey presto the iphone plus was introduced! The note 3 is a small but worthwhile improvement over the 2 - slightly bigger screen, better resolution and faster. It's a big good value phone, fits in my pocket even with a rubber protector The stylus is useful for quick jotting notes and I use it all the time for noting measurements at work. Good camera quality although the app is useless - v difficult to change flash or exposure. Big screen makes texting, dialling and satnav a doddle. Battery life easily a day, but varies if playing a lot of videos The GPS may stop working due to a known problem: the GPS aerial doesn't make good contact with the main circuit board. Easy to fix by bending up the GPS aerial contacts up and making sure the inner cover screws are tight. I've cracked the screen on my 2nd Note 3 so I'll soon be buying another!Read full review
