    Effective but some improvements would be welcome

    The pump is easy to use and great at getting the milk out/ dealing with blocked milk ducts. But it has some annoying features: - suction nozzle always fills up with milk so when you remove it after pumping, milk normally spills onto your top - the bottle needs to be balanced / have a better stand. I express and breastfeed at the same time and I don’t have a hand to deal with the bottle not wanting to stay upright. - condensation collects in the air tube - suction nozzle could be bigger - suction nozzle should be see through so it’s easier to see how much milk comes out - the battery operated mode is important if you don’t plan to express always in the same spot (which isn’t practical)

    Nice model but it is not perfect

    The additions are more than great but the pump itself does not work perfectly. I have another used one(same model and make) - it suck 2-3 times better than this one. I cannot edit the feedback I left so please post this review.

    Fantastic pump

    My health visitor recommended I started expressing and a manual pump wasn’t working very well for me, and I’d seen these Medela pumps and heard good things but couldn’t afford the price tag. I was so pleased to find a good quality, reasonably priced second hand one on eBay I couldn’t wait to try it, and it’s been a godsend.

    Good pump but...

    This pump was really useful for me during the early days of breastfeeding and before we began weaning our baby. I would say that sometimes the pump didn't seem strong enough to get the milk out but the baby is best for that and not sure if another pump would be any better. That's why I give it 4 stars.

    Excellent choice for new mums.

    Medela swing pump is truly an exceptional way for expressing milk. My wife could easily feel difference in amount of milk that is being expressed. It stimulates the production of the milk with regular use.
