    steal of a deal

    after trying many heads and beating them all as hard as i can for years i can say that these are one of the strongest heads ive played on, but its not just the durability its the sheer tone you can get such a beautiful sound. If you are a drummer and you haven't tried this head you are missing out, do yourself a favor buy this head its cheap so just wing it what do you got to lose its a bomb head.

    Evans vs Remo (snare only)

    I recently purchased a DW collector’s series brass over nickel 6.5 X 14. This snare was to replace my PDP Maple Concept. When using the PDP snare, I tried about 3 different snare heads from Evans, all of them, when tuned properly, had a “dead” or “dull” sound. I’ve always been an Evans fan, especially for toms and kick drums. The snare falls flat. I prefer Remo for the snare and Evans everything else.
