ML270 fuel pump repair
Used this to fix the common fuel weeping head on the diesel high Pressure fuel pump of my Mercedes ML270. Been fitted 6 weeks now and no leaks and working well. Do plenty of internet research on how to do the job, and be careful. Ensure all corrosion on mating surfaces are skimmed down (with wet and dry, clean thoroughly!!!). Fiddly job but straight forward and the seal kit so far so good for what seems to be a very common problem.Used this to fix the common fuel weeping head on the diesel high Pressure fuel pump of my Mercedes ML270. Common rail high pressure pump seals.
The colour of the seals were very different from the ones taken from the pump. Seals and washers were indistinguishable as the colours were similar. No instruction or reference documentation to explain this. It was a poke and hope product.
