Clear as the sky
Totally love this microphone, voice is crystal clear. It’s easy to connect to the laptop and downloading Rode for the laptop took a couple minutes to complete the ticks once loaded. It’s easy to move around as it’s not really heavy.

Excellent usb c mic from rode. High quality.
Excellent value quality product from rode. USB C to any device. Sturdy high quality item. Even works on old iPhones with GarageBand and a usb to lightening adapter. Very easy to use and very good sound considering the price. I don’t think this item has any real competition at this price point. It’s a lots of bang for the bucks. Highly recommend.

The best of the same price
To use this mic with an android phone, the sound you get back with your earphone is quite low, eventhough you push the volume up to the top. Connecting with a laptop, the sound you hear is quite normal regarding the same mentioned above. As for the sound quality being recorded, it is crystal clear with decent base and sounds much better compared with the mic embedded in the cell phone(Galaxy 10). I am expecting this Rode mini to be more compatible with the latest iPhone or iPad in terms of the sound back to our ears with the 3.5 mm jack on its back. Since I use iPhone x also, I can't figure it out without an adapter from USB C to lightning. By the way, you can only hear the dry sound without post treatment. Gonna learn to use Audition Adobe to make my voice more attractive. It does take ... I spent a lot of time looking for a decent USB microphone, and checked out many reviews on the subject. This one came with only good recommendations, to which I can happily lend my additional support. The build quality is impressively substantial, which is reflected in the fact that this microphone is surprisingly heavy for its size; although not inconveniently so. On the contrary; it 'feels' like a quality item. To some extent its suitability depends upon your intended use. And the small size of this unit may not suit those who intend it to be employed in a 'sitting on the desk' position, because from base to top it only reaches a height of 14cm (5.5") which means that you would need to place it on a stand to avoid bending over whilst speaking. But if, like me, you want it for singing it ... I spent a lot of time looking for a decent USB microphone, and checked out many reviews on the subject. The sound quality is obviously the main thing, however, and this is as good as any other microphone I have experienced. It is easy to use without any tedious downloading of special drivers, and is the literal definition of 'plug in and play'. The sound can be monitored through a headphone jack with a level control. Admittedly the volume level through the headphone O/P could have had a bit more level available, but really nothing to complain about. So, if you need a good USB microphone it is my opinion that you can't really go wrong with this. And, at this price, it's really a very good deal indeed.

Quality external usb mic! very easy to use simply plug and play. did a quality comparison to the laptop mic and the sound is so much better, ie no echo and sound is much deeper and clearer! wasn't too expensive either. i can see why its perfect for podcasts and voice overs. even better for zoom calls too.
