It is made of a bright royal blue color mixed satin silk rayon blend fabric with a raised padded satin stitch hand embroidery work yellow daisy flowers, Peking knot stamen center accents and green ombre vine leaves embroidered on the front. This beautiful blue Chinese cheongsam dress has a long floor length fitted style with side slit skirt vents, a mandarin collar, long sleeves, black silk piping trim edging with decorative pankou knots at the neck, side snaps, zipper closure, is fully lined and has a "Red Clouds Hand Embroidered Made in China" label size 40 tag sewn inside. Manchu women early on wore a loose fitting one-piece dress which were called "qipao", transforming later to the more form fitting style "Mandarin Gown" popular in Shanghai during the 1920s-1940s. The dress measures 48 inches long, with a 36 inch chest, 30 inch waist, 38 inch hips, 20 inch long sleeve and a 14 in”
