    Great unit for the price.

    The unit suited my needs as I required a set top box with SCART sockets for compatibility with an old TV and VCR. The picture quality is good and the automated setup is easy. The hardest thing to work out is how to activate the subtitles - there isn't a specific subtitles button on the remote, and the instruction manual doesn't make the distinction between subtitles and text (teletext) clear enough,

    Philips freeviiew box

    My tv was too big for the front room. I have a smal B&o tv with good sound but it’s analogue. So needed to go back to a free view box with scart. It’s great. Small and fast and picks up all the channels almost flawlessly. And it’s made by pace who I always favoured
