    Great for Pastel Pencils and normal pencils

    I draw with Pastel Pencils and they are so difficult to sharpen, they are exspensive an quite delicate. I have tried so many normal sharpeners and they blunt after a short time and the pencils often break. I saw someone using this type of sharpener on You Tube and decided to give it a try. It's brilliant I get a lovely point on the pencils and they don't break inside. Very pleased with this sharpener.

    Not good for some pastel pencils

    Disappointed as I wanted to use it for pastel pencils and found that some of my pencils were too thick for them. I will use it for standard graphite pencils though.

    Best one I've tried so far for pastel pencils

    Good fine points on a variety of pencils. Takes a bit of getting used to as you can snap off the lead, but best one so far.

    Very capable sharpener

    If you are like me tired of pencil sharpening and looking for a simple and effective solution then you have found it! I am thankful to an YouTube video, I watched before buying it. I would advise you to do a search and watch it too. It did jam only once but to be fair to it someone had tried to sharpen the same pencil before me and left a broken tip detached from the rest of the pencil core. If this happens to you just open it up and clean it - not a complicated task. Hope this helps

    Really sharpens pencils

    A lovely piece of kit. Well made and does a superb job, sharpening colour pencils as well as graphite. No broken points. Not wasteful: stops when the point has been achieved. Sent incredibly quickly too.
