Dulux Magnolia - Quick Drying Gloss Paint For Wood & Metal
I have used a few tins of this Dulux Magnolia paint on interior woodwork. I am not a tradesperson and merely an amateur DIY'er in our house (as is my Wife) with a view to attaining a very good standard and saving us tidy sums of money. Plus gaining enjoyment whilst on the project and of the finishing results achieved. We are both regular users of Dulux paint and indeed it is our 'go to' brand of paint. This gloss is water based meaning it does not have the horrible odour of oil based interior which we both hate and has been known to give us sore throats not unlike having a common cold. This water-based paint stirs evenly, goes on fantastically like liquid cream, and the brushes can be washed in warm water and soapy liquid such as used for washing hands, dishes etc (not paint ... I have used a few tins of this Dulux Magnolia paint on interior woodwork. Also, it does not 'yellow' like oil-based paint. A slight plus with alternative oil-based is that it gives a slightly glossier finish than this water-based (not enough that I care) and is hardier to knocks which are inevitable with children/grand children and vacuum cleaners etc. I highly recommend this Dulux paint. It's not worth buying cheaper 'own brand' paints which yes you are saving money but in use can be unenjoyable and gives a poor finish. Bearing in mind that a paint has to benefit whatever skill level you have and it will need to last a long time I feel its not worth saving a few pounds on cheaper products. Dulux for me every time, Highly recommended product 👍
