    Tricky at first

When I first used it, it was a disaster, I normally do quarter pound burgers and that was nowhere near enough mince so I make half pound burgers usually with chilli and cheese to the delight of my guests. I make the top party using the mould this ensures they are the same size and press down around the edges before closing it to complete, sometimes when I take out the finished burger its not quite sealed but a quick finger pinch around the edge sorts this. It is a little more messing than I expected but well worth it, they are a massive hit with family and friends.

    Beef burger press .

The item arrived on time and appears to be well made, it would certainly be more helpful if the instructions were in English especially if that’s where they are being sent. I suppose it gets easier to use after using it a few times, it’s a bit messy because it’s a guess as to how much mince to put in at a time.

  • Massive Stuffed Burgers - Great Gadget

Really pleased with this after wondering if it was worth the faff... It was! My homemade burgers are now actually staying together without adding anything to bind them (like egg). I found a total of 200g of mince (and finely grated onion, salt and pepper) is about right, use about 175g for the first press to leave the dip. Then put your filling in, trying not to over-fill it. (I used pre-cooked bacon bits and mozarella, or finely chopped pre-cooked garlic mushrooms and grated cheddar). Flatten the remaining 75g of mince in your hands and place on top, covering the stuffing, and then press again to join them. They took about 20 minutes to cook through, but the stuffing being pre-cooked definitley helped. If it was a 'solid' burger with no stuffing, then allow a lot more cooking time ...

  • Burger Press

I make my own burgers. This is a good bit of kit. Don’t be put off by it being plastic-it’s easier to clean especially in the dishwasher.

  • Brilliant

It’s great making your own burgers, a little fiddly getting the first part of making the burger but once you get the hang of it you won’t look back. Making all your own burgers. Love it.
