Product Information
As a boy, Ben Beckman is sheltered from the hard aspects of life by his Aborigine mother Diamond. He is unaware that he is the son of the ruthless Ben Buchanan, a prominent figure in the state political scene, and that as a half-caste he is unwelcome in Brisbane society. Then one appalling night Diamond's life comes to an end. Crazed with grief, Ben vandalises his neighbour Dr Thurlwell's mansion - for the doctor refused to tend his mother. Ben's actions are to have tragic consequences. Over hard years, Ben's hatred for Dr Thurlwell deepens. The girl next door is Pheobe Thurlwell, whom Ben has known all his life. When she offers the hand of friendship he is still motivated by a bitter feud with her parents. Pheobe is sent away to a friend's cattle station to remove her from Ben's influence, but he follows. There he comes face to face with his father, a far more dangerous adversary than he ever thought possible...

I'm unsure if this seller thinks VGC means scratched to high heaven or they deliberately misrepresented the item. Whichever way, the DVD condition was very disappointing. It was shipped in nothing more than a plain paper envelope with no packaging whatsoever when a padded mailer only costs 20¢. Lazy cheapskate sellers who don't give a rat's about items being damaged in transit are becoming far too common nowadays. They provide a negative experience, which thoroughly deserves a negative rating.

I am sorry to hear that your DVD was damaged in the post. A full refund has been given, though you did not message me for this or request a return. Also please send me your contact where I can get padded bags that send as large letters for only 20c, that is amazingly cheap as the best I can find is around $0.50c per padded envelope. The envelopes we ship out with cost us 0.20c each so not sure if you are making this up or I am just paying too much for our packing supplies.

The scratches on the disc and disgustingly grubby condition of the case were most definitely present prior to packaging. Both are signs of abuse, not damage in transit. Of course I didn't message for a refund or request a return, as I didn't want a refund. My intention was not to get something for free, but rather warn others of item misrepresentation and pathetic shipping practices. 20¢ padded mailers - use the eBay search button. Sellers have websites too. Buying in bulk drops cost to 14¢ each
