A solid alternative to the standard shape.
Substancial and in my view good value. However the teardrop shape may not be right for everyone. I like it as it does cut out strenuous light...but after using the flat type of eyepiec for so long, it did take awhile to get used to this shape. I also find for the eye sensor built into the viewfinder it helps actuate it much quicker and helps keep it cleaner.

Great aid to photography in the sun.
This little piece of plastic makes a significant difference to what I can see in the EVF on sunny days. With sunlight reflecting into the viewfinder I often couldn't read the data around the image or view the image well. Now its simplicity itself. To fit, simply slide off old eye piece and slide new one on.

A great upgrade
The eye cup dose a great job shielding light from disrupting your view. I wear glasses and the rubber lets me get my eye close enough to see the whole area of the finder. Product is well made and I’m very pleased and impressed. Shot picture in low sunny light with distractions from stray daylight.

Not only does it block extraneous light thus helping to concentrate on the image in the viewfinder But an added benefit is that it makes the sensor less sensitive so you can hold the camera closer to you without it automatically switching from screen to evf

Cuts out ambient light. Does what it is supposed to. Would prefer a rectangular aperture rather than round but it doesn't cause an issue. Good product.
