I was finally able to reach the seller and they were friendly and accommodating as I had originally hoped and expected. It seems there were some gremlins blocking my original messages. It’s good to know my questions weren’t being intentionally ignored. If anybody else has similar issues with no communication after a little while, I would suggest to keep trying. Also to clarify on the shipping, the item was very well packaged and arrived in perfect condition, so no issues there.
