There is a very neat contemporary owner's signature and the author's name in light pencil to the title page. The hand-coloured fold-out frontispiece is complete and undamaged and the whole book is in very good condition.The second book - Antidote to the Miseries of Human Life - is bound in somewhat scuffed contemporary calf with gilt spine label. Neat owner's signature to title page and very minor foxing. Otherwise in very good condition.”
