About this product

Product Information

Full Spectrum Warrior: Ten Hammers is a modern-day war simulation that incorporates authentic squad-based combat with real-time tactical maneuvers. As in its 2004 predecessor, Ten Hammers lets players assume the role of squad leader, issuing commands to multiple infantry squads through 12 levels of strategic action set within the fictitious Middle Eastern country of Zekistan. Although the Al-Afad regime was successfully ousted in the first game, players are charged with the task of restoring stability to a fragmented country that has several militias vying for power. Players are joined by a coalition of forces as they engage in urban warfare from inside the oil-rich city of Khardiman.

Each squad is outfitted with the latest in military weaponry, from grenade launchers to sniper rifles, but players can also call air strikes as well as command mechanized units like Bradley Tanks and Armored Humvees. The four-man squad can be splintered off into two-man "buddy teams" for added protection, and players now have the ability to enter interior locales to position snipers. Ten Hammers also lets players take control of an individual unit for precision shooting at specific targets. The Xbox version supports up to eight players in a choice of team-based scenarios, from destroying munitions and rescuing stranded soldiers to gaining strategic control of a monastery and disabling a radio communications tower.

Shipped a 20 year old piece of electronics in a bubble mailer because the PlayStation 2 that was described as “works great” was being sold for parts or repair with no regard for any additional damages in the soft packaging. May have withheld the fact that the unit was previously refurbished. It’s hard to say because that story changed. My least favorite interaction with this seller was when I told them I hadn’t opened the package and wanted to return it and they accused me of theft. Buyer beware

We apologize that we could not accept the return. We sold this item “as is” because as you can see in the photos, it was already opened up and the seal was already broken. The bubble mailer we used was very high quality with large bubbles. We sent 2 other ones out like this and had no complaints. We wish you hadn’t refused to open it and actually see that the item arrived in the condition described. We’re certain it did. Be blessed, Dan & Tonya

Item arrived earlier than the estimated date. Item was packaged carefully and as described. Didn't really need to communicate with the seller.

  • Great Training Simulation

Overall, an excellent view of what MOUT is all about. Realism is pretty decent and the AI can give you a run for your money at times. Ten Hammers improves upon the previous FSW with a better control over your troops, the ability to have your fire teams inside select buildings, and a precision firing mode (can be a bit tricky at times). That doesn't say much for the overall controller layout and gameplay interface. Difficult for those who want action now, Ten Hammers is more about patience and clear tactical thinking than just charge the room with guns blazing (doesn't work in the real world...sorry).

  • MY EYES BURN, MY HANDS HURT

This series is in full swing. 12 more levels of full control combat action that is better than the first title. You still have full controll over team or teams with flanking, supressing and such. Even get an occasional head shot in. Call in some support and watch the show. How can a combat sim get better, I guess with the next release. This is no first person shooter, This game requires split secound commands that determine if you live or die. You have to give wounded fast medical attention or every one dies. You do have interaction you wont find in a clancey game. The full Spectrum series are very hard, the test your ability to command. You dont push a joy stick to make these guys move, You have to pin point an exact locaion to send them. Split your team for some real action. Graphics are ...

  • pretty average

i mean don't get me wrong but the first game was better. This time, the game controls are even more advanced and you can't just breeze through the game no matter how good you are because the computer's AI is pitted against you;even if you follow the guide in the book the enemies would still kill you no matter how good you are. there is no "quicksave" in the game; (this sucks because you'll have to restart alot)and the saving point that is in the game are few. this game show signs of being rushed out into the market (for example, in the bridge section, it is unwinnable, you got to do a cheat to get to the other levels; clear sign of being not tested in the market).I do not recommend this game to beginners. I bought it because i thought that it would be good as the first sequel. Don't get ...

  • full spectrum: ten hammers

for those that like military sims this is it, takes a bit to get used to the controls but once you do its very good, graphics have been improved, the AI is also very good and the varying degrees of difficulty makes it all the more interesting, not a game to finish in 1 or 2 hours especially with the different difficult settings. its definitely not a kiddie game meaning you just don`t go in shoot it up and finish, in this gane you pay for your mistakes, its very strategic, it gives you a mission how you acomplish it with you team and equipment is up to you. i recommend it.

  • Great Game

Ten Hammers is the second installment in the Full Spectrum Warrior series. A squad based game, where you order your two teams to hold down a position, or order one to supress, while the other squad flanks the enemy position. It's definitely for those who want a game where you feel in control, and responsible for your actions. If you want a first person shooter, this ain't it. It's all about strategy, movement, prescision, and patience. I would say this is perhaps the most realistic combat simulator. No capture the flag, no points, no hot swapping, none of that. If you sit and wait too long to figure out what you're going to do, the enemy might just flank you. AI is tricky, very smart. This one will keep your on your toes.
