    Excellent value for money, clear adjustable optics for peanuts and a Mildot reticle to boot

    I had bought a Hawke scope for £100 more than this but the objective lens was glued in place so it had a poor out of focus image for me and no way of focusing it, this on the other hand can be adjusted in seconds by loosening the lock ring at the front of the scope adjusting the objective to be in focus at the range you want then simply re tightening the lock ring. The ocular lens is also easily adjusted to ensure a nice crisp reticle, mine is the Mildot which is standard Mil spacing so you can easily use free ballistic software available online to produce very accurate range cards. I initially used the free mounts which are adequate for a recoilless pcp, not sure they'd stay put on a lively springer.
