It didn’t adhere well to rough sawn timber joist for a deck. Only time will tell if it works well. I wouldn’t use it again, I’d just use more wood treatment on the frame timber.

I had never thought of taping the wood but read on an article on doing just that. The wooden sub-frame is on two levels and originally I was only going to tape the top level. In the end I bought more tape and taped both levels. My wood is 50mm square and 4.2m long. I bought the 65mm wide tape. It is very easy to use and sticks well to the wood. Time will tell on how effective taping is and whether it was worth it.

Unfortunately underestimated my needs and had to go with a local supplier for the completing section, which was very much poorer quality and more challenging to apply without her backing paper, additional stretching etc. This was definitely the product to use, highly recommend and will buy again when addressing my son's decking, :-)
