I ordered a size up on advice from another buyer. I had to send them back to swap for 34'' So, sizing is true. Comfy with elasticated waist. I think they'll be good summer pants. Perhaps a little lightweight for a cold winter but, we'll see. I think they'll give some protection on a slow-speed topple. Service was top class. No exchange hassles. I recommend this seller
