I'm size 14-16 in tops and ordered 14 which is comfy but not too loose. I would have preferred a slightly A shape as on sitting the top scrunches up, making the neck stand out. Also the polyester thread embroidery is itchy and uncomfortable. Hopefully washing it may soften it - if not it'll go to a charity shop
