One of the greatest Mountaineering successes of all time!
The 1963 American Everest Expedition. Great group of climbers and mountaineers. I've read many mountaineering books and this one ranks in the top five. Willi Unsoeld and Dr. Tom Hornbein accomplished a feat of mountaineering marvel that has never been duplicated. Inspiring and motivating. Read it. You will be blown away at the accomplishment(s).
