My friends dogs are much more civilised and take their time with them. Even though they are dried and don't need refrigerating, I keep them in the garage to stay cool. (and out of the way otherwise she would be nagging all day). she has 1-2 daily in the evening so even with occasional sharing they seem to last ages.
