Rather than go for an electric grinder, I wanted to enjoy the experience of counting out my own coffee beans (60 as the composer Beethoven used to do) and grinding them myself. The taste is also superior to pre-ground coffee. One minor gripe (see picture), removing handle from nut (in order to insert coffee beans) was rather stiff. Resolved by not pushing it all the way home. Overall, a good product fairly priced.

Is taking hours to grind enough coffee beans for the morning coffee. It is a shame as the outside design and jars are good. The price was sensible for this size grinder, but one still expects it not to require hours of turning the handle to grind the coffee. For this reason I can only give the grinder a 2 stars.
