Time For The End
Have followed the Halloween franchise since first one came out in 1978. Was thrilled when Blumhouse took on the older Laurie and Big Mike's story. I really liked especially Halloween 2018 and liked the Halloween Kills. Just not as thrilled with this one. Though the ending at least proves The Shape will never be coming back no guessing. I guess the basic idea involving Michael's killer in training was not hep on. I thought oh no not another sequel with a different Faux Michael seeming to be him coming back. Am a big fan of Jamie Lee. She is top notch always. The grand daughter's crazy behavior after going thru hell and back seeing what Michael really was losing her parents in the first two then being enamored of the strange aka pretty obvious potential serial killer she meets didn't mesh for me. I get they needed something different being how old Michael was how long could he keep going like he was 21 again. Just a lot of gratuitous violence a little worse with every sequel. I think the way things are becoming was a little too realistic being so many unstable kids out there that see these movies and thinking yeah that is maybe something I would like to try. Glad how the very last few minutes went. Was a big horror fan all of my life, but am growing less enamored of it seeing too much of the real thing on the news every day!
