    Making it better

    Decent enough product. I extended the wiring from the basement sump to the main floor using speaker wire. The alarm is now on the first floor where we can hear it if it goes off. I also did some splicing and jury rigged a second wire to a second sump. Now both my sumps are monitored by my single alarm. The only thing I would like to see improved is a low battery warning. There is nothing to indicate the battery is low or dead other than the alarm sounds weak when testing it. There is also a port for an AC plug (not included) which is a nice feature.

    Not to low

    I like the product, but you can't put it too far down in a covered sump well. I had the sensor about 7 inches above my sump pump in a covered well and just the moisture set the thing off. I had to put the sensor about a inch below the cover on the well to work properly without dampness setting it off. This gives me very little time to react if my basement floods. The bright side is I'll know before it gets 3 feet deep .

    Going to be perfect

    Being as my trade is millwright we have to use strap wrench’s pretty often they always come in hand when breaking loose a stoved up pump or motor and klutch is a great brand

    alarm

    seems perfect for what we needed --crawl space sump--only thing i wish wire was longer had to splice some in to get it where i needed it ..that fine gauge wire isn't that expensive,,to add a few feet to it ..but im happy with purchase

    Great item!

    Second purchase of same item. First one lasted several years before the water corroded the sensors. Has a great LOUD alarm so we can hear upstairs! Good buy!
