Product Information

Mel Gibson is Porter, a ruthless criminal, who is gunned down by his wife and friend after they rob an Asian gang. When Porter survives the attack, he makes it his mission to exact revenge on his friend, who has used the robbery money to buy his way into a powerful syndicate. Added to the mix are crooked police officers, members of the syndicate, and the Asian gang, who are out for a bit of revenge themselves. Based on the series of novels by Donald E. Westlake, which were translated to the screen previously in John Boorman's POINT BLANK (1967).

This is the Original Mel Gibson Version of PAYBACK!!
This is the Mel Gibson (Porter) version of PAYBACK (Get Ready to Root For the Good Bad Guy) that I've been looking for, I have the Director's Cut version and I'm really not into Porter being killed off.

Not Bad If You Enjoy This Genre of Crime and Violence
OK movie. Lots of violence. If you watch this film, make sure you view this version and not the one labeled "director's cut", which is really a totally different movie for about the last 25%.

Here's what happened I bought the director's cut it's not even the same movie there's so many things missing and they've changed and altered different scenes at the end it's just wasn't as entertaining as the original so yeah this is really really good I'm glad I got the original thanks a bunch

A great bad guy as the good guy fighting even worse bad guys. He fights for what is his, his money, his girl and lets nothing stop him, He does it by outsmarting his very daunting list of bad guys. All out entertaining!

A great crime drama movie! Better than the director's cut version. The ending was better, and I liked the blueish tint on the film that creates the setting of being in the underworld of crime drama. A must see next to the Godfather movies!
