Secret sauce for old amp modelers: Improve IR loader/cab sime
If you're using a modeler without a cabinet simulator, this is the secret sauce to making it sound really good through good earbuds/IEMs/headphones, powered PA cabinets and FRFR (full range, flat response) guitar speakers or acoustic amps. The selection of cabinet impulse responses (IR) is great, but you can download one you REALLY like via the USB port if you feel that's necessary. I like that it's got both a 1/4" guitar jack AND an XLR to hook it up. Best of all, it's tiny. This is how you make old Line6 Pods and Behringer V-Amps sound a lot better, the technology for implementing IRs has really improved since they were made. it does need a 5.5mm center negative power adapter, there is no provision to run it off a battery.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
