what an awesome game... I really like ho...
what an awesome game... I really like how it's designed. The combos and movement are pretty clean and the level design seems pretty solid.

Nice 90s Nostalgia
The game is what you'd expect in any 90's 16 bit beat em up, which can make it a bit repetitive. The real charm in this game, however, is the complexity of moves available to Spawn. The controls might seem hard to master at first, but after a few tries you'll swear your playing a fighting game masked as a generic beat em up. For fans of 1994 era Spawn, all the characters are here, & the story line is ripped from the comics! The visuals are basic, the baddies all look like they've been ripped straight from Spiderman & Venom: Seperation Anxiety (another great game), but great care & attention was given to Spawn himself. He uses his cape & chain as weapons, & animation for those & other moves are impressive! The game itself is a bit on the short side with 6 level, & each ... Fans of beat em ups won't find too many new things with this title other than the creative fight style of Spawn, but if your nostalgic for early 90s console games & entertainment, then give Todd McFarlane's Spawn a try!
