Good quality but incorrect length and therefore not as described
It’s a relatively well made cable and Qualtex are probably the biggest supplier of aftermarket vacuum cleaner parts in the UK. The seller LM Electrical are also dependable and well established. However, in this case the description isn’t strictly speaking correct in as much as this is NOT an 8m cable it’s about 7.7m which nets back to 7.5m because around 20cm is inside the exit grommet and wound around the connector moulding inside the machine (mine being a DC25). Consequently when wound downwards initially which is the correct direction the free end of the cable which the plug is fitted to end up facing upwards and flopping back down or needing to be tucked into the wound cabling. The original cable when fully wound goes over the top winder and the plug hangs downwards neatly and is easily clipped into place neatly. So this cable is the WRONG length for a DC25 at least. I had to return it consequentially and pay the return postage so not a good experience in this case

I received this mains lead in a sealed in its manufacture’s bag and it has all the correct connectors on the end of the wires so it was easy to install
