    This movie compilation by Mel Brooks is outstanding! Eight complete films in one package all of his best and brightest. 777 minutes of laughter and excellent story telling! If you enjoy clean good fun, you'll want to add this compilation of films to your personal movie library!

    Movies to make you laugh (a lot) and to annoy libs everywhere

    Mel Brooks produced and directed some very entertaining movies. Blazing Saddles gets a lot of (deserved) attention but High Anxiety and Young Frankenstein are worthy of praise too. What I like mostly about this boxed set is they are all there, ready to make liberal heads explode. Liberals are famous for a lack of a sense of humor. Their reaction to these movies by a certified (not certifiable) genius proves that contention. Watch Mel Brooks and laugh.

    It's Good to be the King

    Irreverent humor. Rotten cliches. Not Politically Correct by any means. Draws on many venues of movie land to bring to sarcastic life all our follies and foibles. So, the best way for me to put this is that, "If you take life to seriously, you will be disappointed. If you can't laugh at yourself when seen thru anothers eyes, well, you are just a sad specimen and better off watching Scooby Doo." Mel Brooks is a genius at poking fun at the snoopy, prissy over serious Mrs Grundys of the world.

    You an tell I'm a Mel Brooks fan by the way I rave over this collection, but the real deal is that this collection hits all the best titles in his filmography. It could have been advertised as "the essential Mel Brooks collection." The set I picked up was missing one of the movies in the set, but I already happened to have owned a copy, so it was actually a perfect match, and I've had a few hours of worthwhile relaxation time as I tried out the various films. I was most excited to get a copy of "The Twelve Chairs." That title is an often overlooked and not-well-remembered feature from his early years, but remains one of the iconic comedies of that era.
