Shining through
I've used this battery pack with a solar charger in order to run quite bright lights. The internal working of the NiMH battery are safely behind a thick plastic shrink wrap covering and away from little hands. The battery pack comes with a connector but has sufficient lead to enable you to fit any connector you need, and its tidy size make it a versatile power source. It has proved able to take the trickle feed from a small dollar panel and store enough energy to keep the lights it powers shining through the night.I've used this battery pack with a solar charger in order to run quite bright lights.
