The item was purchased for a friend who needed a replacement for his recorder that no longer worked. The recorder was delivered on time and well packaged. The device looked like new, indeed the remote control was new I think, complete with batteries and an HDMI lead. The recorder functions as expected. The only thing missing was the user guide, although at 86 pages that’s probably understandable. This can be downloaded from the Panasonic website in any case.

    Nicely priced, HDD-DVD Recorder.

    The HDD-DVD recorder came very well wrapped & then packed inside a cardboard box. It was fortunate that it had been wrapped so well, as the box was badly damaged on delivery. No problems with the item though ! It's easy to use the very basic functions, but a user manual is needed for the more involved aspects of this item. A manual unfortunately was not included, but fear not ! I found one online as a pdf download, so no worries on that part. The item came nearly complete, as the only items I had to buy to connect it to the TV was a 21 pin fully wired SCART cable & an aerial lead. Included with the unit were, the all important remote control, a HDMI cable & a power lead. Works brilliantly, so far, very good price. Would recommend.

    these machines have good features not on the newer models

    this product has replaced the exact same model that i have had for many years, due to the previous model being rented from Hughes, they messed up and could not fix it so I bought my own as I did not want to put up with Hughes and their excuses.

    Excellent Multi Region DVD/HDD Recorder.

    This is my second Panasonic DMR-EX773 DVD/HDD recorder. The first recorder gave excellent service for many years, eventually going into self-test mode very time I tried to record to HDD. I didn't hesitate to replace the original when I came across this one for sale, and I would expect the same length of reliable service once again.

    Panasonic DVD Recorder

    Bought as a replacement. Unfortunately Panasonic (and just about everyone else) don't make machines with scart input or output anymore so the only DVD Recorder I could find to fit my requirements i.e. copy to DVD hard drive from SKY box.
