BMW hedgehog resistor
This item works perfectly even tho it looks slightly different to the original , plus it has a two year warranty. You will need to be patient if you are fitting it yourself as it can be tricky.

Good but needs adjustment.
Good working order, it looks diferent from the genuine. Be ready with to sand down the edges as this will not fit, at least it didn;t fit in my 2003 E46 330ci without sanding quite a bit on the edges.
