X2 transponder by AMB
The worst thing AMB have done,was to replace the old style orange or yellow transponder with the X2, it's temperamental and fiddly! I charged it overnight and by lunchtime the following day it was completely dead, when I arrived home I recharged it left it in its box and lasted for 5 days, the next week we went to race it was fully charged and by 11.00 am all lights were out and it wouldn't work. Plugged it into a computer and yes, it started to work again! I know I'm not the only person to have problems with the x2, I'm now on the lookout for an old style transponder.The worst thing AMB have done,was to replace the old style orange or yellow transponder with the X2, it's temperamental and fiddly!
