The product was in date, just the outer packaging was produced in bulk some time ago and the correct expiry date was not on the packet. Sorry for the inconvenience, there was never any risk and we refunded the order.

I received teas with expired expiry dates 2 bags use before 2019 and 2 use before 2021 after contacting the seller I find out the reason is because “
The product you received is in date as the sticker said, due to environmental concerns we do not like to dispose of unused packaging so we put the correct date for that batch when the packaging was being filled.” I do not recommend

Our products are not expired, we make new batches all the time however we had purchased too many outer bags before Covid that did not get filled due to the lockdowns stopping production. Rather than burden the environment and dispose of perfectly good packaging, we put new batches of product into the bags and put the new expiry date. There's a reason we put those stickers - the product is fresh.
