I bought this product with the intent of using it to play live. I found that it was easy to setup initially, but when I wanted to set my own parameters it was exceedingly difficult. The knobs, faders and pads all work fine, but the keyboard has a faulty key right in the centre of it, making it impossible to use for live performances. The hammer action is average, and a little noisier than other hammer weighted keyboards I have owned in the past. I guess if you wanted to use this product in a studio environment, for recording purposes only, then it would probably be quite well suited. It is far too heavy to take around with you to gigs etc. If you are willing to spend only a little more, you will find much better products than this one.
I bought this because it brings together the 16 MPC pads and MPD functionality plus 88 weighted keys. The hammer action is top notch, and the board overall has good quality. I was hoping for possibly bigger pads more similar to the full sized MPD's, but it's cool. Other 88 key boards don't have all of what this offers at the same time. It's a good space saver in a way beyond the full sized keys.
Product worked perfect. Very nice keyboard. One of the edges cracked in transit, but it snapped back into place. Very happy.

I was looking for an 88 weighted controller that was reasonably priced. This one popped up at 500 bucks and low cost shipping, so I snagged it, and am glad I did. It works beautifully in my studio. I quit gigging years ago, but I wouldn't traces with it, there plenty of high quality boards out there that are roadworthy. r9ek6
I bought this as a reason user and I'm very happy with it. I now use reason and record and have been taking piano lessons and this thing works perfectly for my setup. The price was ridiculous too as any guitarcenter price was about 200-300 more. Very happy and would buy it again.
