Such a delightful surprise to find that Kurt Vonnegut had written yet another book. Published posthumously, it is a grand combination of his signature wit, curmudgeonly chastisments about the poor state of human affairs and the world. It was such a tragedy that he died as a result of a fall and head trauma. An unecessary and sad silencing of one of the great observers of our time. The preface by his son Mark is evidence that the acorn didn't fall far from the tree. Perhaps Mark will follow in his Dad's footsteps. So it goes...
Vonnegut is always a winner.

A must have for the Vonnegut fan. This is a collection of previously unpublished stories by the master, Kurt Vonnegut Jr. There is a forward by the author's son Mark that outlines the reason for the book. A highly entertaining book.
Anything by Vonnegut is worth reading, I suggest this and every other title to any reader. His collections of short stories are the bread and butter of his legacy, his ability to make a deeply philosophical argument in very few words is unmatched in contemporary literature
A brief about his experience in WW II, and in Dresden. He became a devout anti-war activist later. His irony throughout. Worth reading and remembering by his following. Mike T.
