      No brainer

I've been a carpenter/ woodworker for the past 38 yrs. I have owned the festoon stuff for about 6 yrs. I was skeptical about an "off-brand". I am delighted to say there is no discernible difference between this blade and the festool blades. I've been using these for about 2 yrs. now and have had no bad surprises. At about a third of the cost I would reccomend them to anyone instead of the festool. It is inevitable you'll hit a nail, screw or staple in the course of installing. I would rather pay the replacement cost on these than the original brand. Fact is, even if I buy 2 I'm still saving money.

    • Most critical review

Not as good as big brand name blades

It’s a workable substitute, but not the same quality as Diablo, Makita, or Dewalt. My main grudge is it’s not thin kerf, so produces a lot more dust and puts more strain on the motor. Also not as fine cuts as other brands. But it works.

    • Track saw blades

Best blades for the money. I don’t feel they last as long as the original Festool blade, but the price can’t be beat! I do a lot of hardwood flooring repairs, so these are a good value, especially when you hit a nail or two when cutting blind .

    • It fits the Makita but...

This blade is a smaller diameter than the Makita blade and you lose close to a quarter inch of cutting depth. I cut 2 inch wood slab with this saw and the difference in blade size was just enough to not cut all the way through. This blade does cut smooth and clean.
