For the money, this is a good piece of kit. Primarily using as a spotting scope at nearby air gun ranges and seems to be ideal for this task, albeit without rangefinder. But at £36, who cares! Have tried some astronomical usage. Good for close ups of the moon. All in all, a great replacement for my aging binos.

Unfortunately for me, the tripod is a bit too wide footed for my local reserve hide and that makes it too high for me to use while seated. However, the sight of an avocet chick at fifty feet plus filling the view was well worth it.

A good image quality and a sturdy tripod for the price. I use for setting up my rifles and it’s great for that. After a few minutes of practice it’s simple to use also the focus can be a little tricky at first but only as it’s pretty sensitive and once close requires only slight adjustments to get a clear image. Very happy with this scope and for the price it’s great.

Excellent piece of professional looking kit with tripod. I use it for ship watching in the English channel. It's almost perfect. Will definitely shop here again

Now, one can't expect these to be on parr with say, Opticron, but given that they are 10x the price, perhaps one should not expect the same quality. Having said that, this scope is of very good build - light, mostly plastic with a rubberised coating. The focusing is very smooth and very gradual. The actual image quality is very good, with little chromatic aberration. The full zoom range is quite usable on a sturdy base, though I can't comment on its use hand held. The small tripod is a nice little bonus - it is of decent quality, quite usable.
