Convert vinyl or tape to cd then to mp3 (Tape player, Record deck and pc required), simple to use, however you must buy CD-R’s that are “CONSUMER USE”, this is very important as most CD-R’s will not work on this machine, sound quality to 10/10.

PDR609 plays CDs as you'd expect of a good player. The fact that you get excellent recording means that it should probably always have sold for twice the price. It's also very easy to use.

Bought this to replace a Denon CD recorder when laser failed, got it locally from seller who had literally used a dozen times them boxed it up again so was like new. Good sound quality and more consistent than the denon, display is large and clear with good metering and progressive recording level adjustment. As with all recorders it only uses cd-r audio discs but these are not expensive these days. Bought to put LPs onto CD but also useful for doing same for podcasts etc. Fully recommended, works every time.

Beautiful piece of kit that makes stunning recordings. I use it to transfer audio recordings of my band from my Yamaha poketrak to cd. Blank cd's are very cheap to buy as well. Build quality is typically high end Pioneer. Get one while you can.
